Direction Ko Phi Phi

Après une nuit à Phucket town nous prenons le bateau pour Ko Phi Phi (prononcé pipi au grand amusement des plus jeunes) où nous allons passer quelques jours. Jusqu'à présent nous nous sommes déplacés tous les jours et ce n'est pas l'idéal pour les enfants.
Nous nous rendons compte de l'utilité d'avoir une connexion internet pour obtenir des informations, faire des réservations et ce d'autant plus que nous voyageons en famille et des bagages un peu lourds, nous manquons un peu de souplesse. Il est important de pouvoir planifier à l'avance, pas trop non plus quant on voie les inondations à Bangkok où un tel phénomène n'était pas arrivé depuis 70 ans !
Néanmoins tout le  monde va bien et s'adapte y compris à la cuisine locale.

 

We have left Bangkok yesterday because of the floodings. The town center is probably going to be flooded in the next days due to the conjunction of the high tide and of the water coming down from the north.

We had planned initially after a few days in Bangkok to go North, near ChangMai which had been inundated too. So we decided to go first to the South and we managed to get a flight to Phucket. After one night in Phuket Town, we are heading to Ko Phi Phi for a few days and then probably to Ko Lanta and Krabi. We would like as well to see the bay of Nphang ka. We are realising as well it is crucial to get an internet connection in order to be able to get information, planning the next days or buying tickets, it is all the more important than we have children and quite heavy luggage.

The children are all right, they keep on fighting together but we've moving everyday and we think we need to stop for a while and start teaching everyday. They're realising they need to learn English.
