At Ko Lanta

We stayed for 5 days in Ko Lanta. It is an island further South whose population is mainly muslim. Ko Lanta is well known in France because it is the name of a TV program similar to « Survivors ».
There are beautiful beaches, not crowded, but we stayed inland at Leane and Lek's place. Their wooden house is next to a rubber tree plantations and a forest we had to cross to go to the village and to the beach, (we could see wild monkeys on our way).
In staying at the home of this English-Thai couple, our intention was to see more of the way of living of Thai people. Besides, they have 2 kids, a little girl Areya, 7 years old and a boy Aron, 3 years old and we thought it would be good for our children.
We are not that used to our comfort but it was a bit different of what we are used to, as the house did not have running water. For Hugo and Luc, there was no problem. They adapted very quickly and managed to play immediately with the kids.
We enjoyed the company, the food, rented motorbikes, went to local markets and snorkeling another time.
